Artificial grass · Canning Vale, WA
Bigger blocks, pools, dogs and a lot of childcare centres. Turf and soft fall rubber across Canning Vale and the south east.

Canning Vale yards
Canning Vale, Southern River and Harrisdale run to larger blocks than the newer infill suburbs, and the jobs reflect it. Pool surrounds where the turf has to finish cleanly against coping, dog yards where the lawn has to survive daily use, and a lot of commercial work at the childcare centres through the area.
Around a pool, the detail that matters is the edge and the drainage. Turf finishes against the coping without a lip, splash-out drains away instead of sitting under the pile, and the infill has to be one that does not track into the water. It is the same reasoning at a childcare centre, only with fall heights and soft fall depths on top of it.
We built the playspace at Shining Kidz Early Learning Centre in Canning Vale, which is a good example of the commercial side of what we do here: an all-timber structure with soft fall underneath and shade over the top.
Ranges
Bigger areas, pets and pool surrounds all point the same way: density and a yarn that holds up to traffic. These four cover most of what goes in around here.
How it works
We come to you, measure the area, check the levels and the drainage, and look at what has to come out first.
One price for the whole job. It holds unless you change the scope.
The old lawn or paving comes out and goes with us, then the base is built and compacted. That is most of the time on site.
Laid, joined, pegged and infilled, brushed up and the site left clean. Around 100 square metres a day.
We also cover Southern River, Harrisdale, Piara Waters, Ferndale, Thornlie, Gosnells, Willetton and the south east.

Questions
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs here. The turf finishes flush against the coping, the base is built so splash-out drains away, and we use an infill that does not track into the water.
Yes. It does not get dug up, it does not turn to mud, and urine drains straight through the backing. For odour we use Aguachill Sand as the infill with Jay Fresh as a treatment, which is what stops the smell building up over a summer.
Yes. We build the whole yard, not just the lawn: play equipment, soft fall rubber at the right depth for the fall height, artificial grass through the rest, and shade over it. Shining Kidz Early Learning Centre in Canning Vale is one of ours.
We lay around a hundred square metres a day, and most of the time on site is the base rather than the turf. A large Canning Vale back yard is usually two to three days.
