Composite decking · Supplied and installed
From $330 per square metre, subframe included. We measure on site, write a fixed price against what is actually there, and build the frame before anyone touches a board.

What the quote covers
Most of what you pay for in a deck is under the boards. The subframe sets the height, the fall and the joist spacing, and it is what decides whether the deck is still flat and quiet in five years. Boards are the easy part.
An installed quote from us covers the subframe, the fixings, the fascia, the boards and the clean-up. It is one fixed price written after we have seen the site, not a rate applied to a number you gave us over the phone.
The only thing that moves the price after that is you changing the scope, or something being found under the surface that nobody could see at the measure. If that happens we talk to you before doing anything about it.

Substrates
The build-up changes with the surface underneath. These are the four we do most in Perth, and they are the first thing we look at when we come out to measure.
Most common
Footings, then a treated timber or aluminium subframe set to the height and fall you want. Weed matting underneath.
Low build-up
Adjustable pedestals or low profile battens. Keeps the finished height down and lets water run away underneath.
Height critical
Pedestals over the waterproof membrane, nothing fixed through it, and falls kept to the existing drainage.
Coping and edges
Shaped around coping and curves, with the edge detail worked out before the frame goes down.
How it works
We come to you anywhere in the Perth metro area, measure, check the levels and the falls, and look at what has to come out.
One price for the whole job, itemised, sent to you in writing. It holds unless the scope changes.
Footings or pedestals, then the frame, set out to the joist spacing the board needs and checked for level and fall.
Boards fixed with hidden clips, fascia to close the edges and the board ends, offcuts and rubbish taken away.
Replacing an existing timber deck? The old deck and the spoil go with us as part of the quote. If the existing subframe is sound we will tell you, and it comes off the price.
Questions
From $330 per square metre supplied and installed, including the subframe. The rate moves with the height off the ground, the substrate, and how much shaping and edge work the deck needs.
A straightforward domestic deck is usually two to four days on site. Most of that is the frame. Shaped edges, steps and pool surrounds add time.
Yes, on adjustable pedestals or low profile battens. It is one of the most common jobs we do, because it keeps the finished height down and lets the slab drain underneath.
Yes. On a membrane we use pedestals that sit on the surface, so nothing is fixed through the waterproofing, and we keep the existing falls to the drains.
No. We install boards we supply, and the warranty is simplest that way, but you can also buy by the board from the decking shop and build it yourself.
