As the coolest synthetic turf in our range, Oasis is designed to retain much less heat than other lawns. Designed in Holland, the high quality synthetic yarn reflects sunlight and dissipates heat rather than absorbing it.

This is achieved through pigments that reflect near-infrared light (NIR) – the invisible part of sunlight you feel as heat. Around 30% of the heat in sunlight is reflected straight back, so less is absorbed by the face yarn and the surface runs cooler than a standard turf on the same afternoon.

Oasis also has the softest texture in the current JSG range, and at 8,000 dtex it is the highest-dtex landscaping grass we stock. Features a 35mm pile height and fine blades at high density, for a premium shiny green finish and real comfort underfoot.

Cooling is not air conditioning – on a 40-degree day Oasis is still warm. What it buys you is a lower peak and a faster drop-back once the sun comes off it, which is the difference between a lawn the kids leave and a lawn they stay on.
