Dura — Teak
Warm mid-brown, closest to what people picture when they say “timber deck”.
Six solid Dura colours, the lighter Dura-Eco, and every clip, screw and pedestal that goes under them. Buy it supply-only and lay it yourself, or have us do it.

All 135 × 22.5 × 5400 mm. Six solid, one hollow.

A cool mid grey. Sits back against white or light render instead of competing with it.

The warmer of the two mid greys. Works where the paving already has a warm cast.

The darkest board we stock, despite the name. If you want a dark deck, this is the one.

A deep timber tone with more red in it than Teak. Reads richer in afternoon light.

A light warm greige, not brown. The coolest underfoot and the one that hides dust best.

Hollow core, so it is lighter to handle and easier on the budget. Silver Birch one face, Teak the other.
The clips are the part people forget to order.

Hold the boards down and set the 5 mm expansion gap for you. The part people forget to order.

For the first and last board where a clip cannot reach. Deep thread, low displacement.

Only needed when you are going over concrete or pavers. Adjusts on site so you can level a fall.

The taller pedestal, for keeping a deck flush with an existing threshold over a deeper fall.
What turns a built deck into a finished one.

Covers the sub-frame and the cut ends of the boards. The difference between a deck that looks finished and one that looks half-built.
The names come from the manufacturer and they are not always a good description of the board. Three greys sound interchangeable and are not.
It sounds like the palest of the three greys. It is the deepest. If you want a dark deck, this is the one.
It reads as a light warm greige, the lightest board in the range, and the coolest underfoot.
Both mid greys. Smokey runs cooler, Slate is a touch warmer. Side by side the difference is obvious.
Warm mid-brown, closest to what people picture when they say timber deck. Most Perth jobs land here.
Do not choose from a screen. Both showrooms have every board on the floor.
Each board is 5400 mm long and 135 mm wide. With the 5 mm gap the clips set, one board covers a strip 140 mm wide, so roughly 0.75 m² per board, or 1.3 boards per square metre before cuts. Add 5 to 10 per cent for anything that is not a clean rectangle, and allow separately for the sub-frame, fascia and delivery.
Send us the dimensions and we will do the take-off properly. That part is free.
On the solid Dura boards. Covers the original purchaser only and is not transferable if you sell the house.
On decks we install. Separate from the product warranty, they are two different things.
If something is wrong it needs to be in writing within 14 days of you noticing it.
Delivery within 50 km of the Perth CBD once payment clears. Supply-only orders are dropped to the driveway.
Yes. Everything on this page is supply-only if you want it that way. Order the boards, the clips and the screws together, because the clips are the part people forget.
Dura is solid and fully capped, with the 25-year product warranty. Dura-Eco is hollow, so it is lighter to handle and easier on the budget, and it is reversible with Silver Birch on one face and Teak on the other. It does not carry the same warranty.
Each board covers a strip 140 mm wide once the clips set the 5 mm gap, so roughly 0.75 square metres per board, or 1.3 boards per square metre. Add 5 to 10 per cent for cuts on anything that is not a clean rectangle.
Only if you are decking over concrete or pavers. On a normal sub-frame you do not. They are useful when you need to level out a fall or keep the deck flush with an existing threshold.
Darker boards absorb more heat, the same as any dark surface. If the deck is in full afternoon sun and gets walked on barefoot, the lighter colours are the easier choice.
Standard delivery covers 50 km from the CBD and takes one to three business days once payment clears. Further out, tell us where and we will price the freight.
Yes. Every colour is on the floor at both showrooms, Malaga and Jandakot, and you are welcome without an appointment.
We will tell you exactly what to order, and quote installation if you want it. Free measure anywhere in Perth metro.
