Most of our work is one back yard at a time. Reticulation off, the sand levelled and compacted, and a lawn that looks the same in February as it did in June. The difference people notice first isn’t the colour — it’s that nobody has to think about it again.
A dog will find the weak join. A four-year-old will find the hard edge. Both are solved underneath the grass rather than in it — drainage through the base, softfall where there’s play equipment, and edges pinned rather than glued at the perimeter.

There is no single right base for a Perth yard. What is already there — sand, concrete, paving, a balcony slab — decides what goes under the turf, and it changes the quote.
Crushed blue metal fines. Compacts to a very firm, smooth surface — the flattest finish of the five.
Crushed rock blend. The workhorse for larger areas and anything that will take steady foot traffic.
